    I am on plaquenil and have missed days when i first started them too, its not a bad thing. I take 400mg daily I actually am still taking plaquenil, and my rhuemy has told me to skip two days a week of taking them as plaquenil is supposed to build up in your system,and she says after a while that the patient needs to wean off of it.     Was told by the doctor that the med, should help me control the systemic arthrirts(Sjogren syndrome /lupus) after 4-6 months of using the med.
