    Chloroquine is the first-line treatment for P vivax malaria in most endemic countries.     User Reviews for Hydroxychloroquine to treat. - Started taking Hydroxychloroquine 200mg, 1 and 1/2 tablet each evening 2 1/2 weeks ago. In the last week I have developed the worst constant dry mouth, my eyes are so dry they feel like sandpaper. Just now I read that this medication is used to treat dry eyes and mouth issues in another disease. I left a message with my doctor earlier today.
